Together with Robin Peters from the Aussenstelle Titz of the  LVR, the BCDH is testing new methods of remote sensing in archaeological research. Special attention is paid to the application of UAV-supported multispectral cameras for the detection of archaeological features on the basis of vegetation characteristics. For the analysis of the data, BCDH has developed an R-script that simplifies the analysis significantly.
